The site is strategically located on an elevated platform overlooking the expansive, green field at the front of the College ground. The building’s outstanding presence could not be missed as one drives by the main road of Jalan Ayer Pa’abas, Alor Gajah, Melaka.

At the time this project was initiated, the College was operating from a number of small insignificant old building blocks. The new Administration Block was designed to portray the intended image of the College and RISDA itself whereby the image will be relevant at all times : Strong, Stable, Contemporary and Green. The motive on the sun screen was interpreted from elements of the RISDA logo.
